Love & Pawsitivity was started with the mission to create a company that spreads love and supports positive thoughts, actions, and ideas through the quirky lens of love for our fur-babies. Our pup reminds us daily that dogs can be great teachers; they love unconditionally.
So in order to continue supporting what we believe in, we have decided to create an ongoing list of Black-Owned Pet Businesses, that we can all support - now and always. We ended up with a list so big we had to break it into 3 posts. This one is the Training, Grooming, and Pet Care edition!

If you can't, here are a few ways you can support them for free:
- Follow them on social media and engage with their account. Like, comment, & share their content.
- Talk about them in your social media - a simple Instagram story or post can make a difference.
- Share these businesses with friends and families outside of just social media. I bet someone you know may need something they're selling or are providing.
- Visit their website and sign up for their newsletters.
- When it makes sense, let them know you support them.

The Harlem Doggie Day Spa doesn't only offer grooming services, but also boarding and pet transportation services in the NYC area. And besides the amazing grooming and cute puppers, we LOVE a pawsome initiative they are spearheading right now.
Harlem Doggie Day Spa has a fundraiser for a Pandemic Pup Relief Fund. Their goal is to offer free grooming services to pet parents who have been fiscally impacted by COVID-19 with pop-ups across the entire United States, partnering with local Black Owned Pet Businesses, local groomers, and local pet shelters.

When we adopted Minnie, we made a promise to her that we would only use positive reinforcement with her. We wish we had known about Pet Parent Allies when we made that promise!
